Back To The Old House

Monday morning and time to head off up the M1 to see my children. I can't wait to see the three of them again; I really have missed them these last few days. I'm staying with my parents until the weekend so won't be around for a while.

Normal service will resume some time after Friday....

Welcome home!

I hope you find the house clean enough, tidy enough and so on. Parts of the floor have been cleaned. The glass looks disappointingly smeary in the daylight - that's what I get for cleaning it in the small hours. I take comfort from it being cleaner than it was.

The blinds have been cleaned, in the lounge and the boys room. The phone table post pile has been sorted. There are two parcels for you by the front door. The boys room has been tidied, wiped & vacuumed. The blue storage box from the hall has replaced a broken toybox in the boys room that had gashed George. The kitchen should be clean and ant-free. The buggy that cluttered the kitchen is now cluttering the boot of the Cav.

I noticed as I left there are still some socks on the radiator in the lounge, and I haven't had time to open or rip the CDs. You'll just have to listen to them the old-fashioned way for now.

Take time to enjoy a coffee - I have saved 1pt. semi skimmed milk for you and there's plenty of coffee left to grind.

Thought you'd like this:

It's another free (I think) music locker / publishing service which you may be able to use on your blog.

If you want some peace, point the boys at their DSs on the shelf in their room and under George's pillow. All the PS2 controls are wound up under the TV in their room.

Looking forward to a big hug tonight and don't you dare be grumpy ;-)

Thanks, WDKY. Visits to my parents' place are always 'interesting' (see my next post) but it was lovely to get my children back. I always appreciate them all the more for having spent some time away from them.

Cam,

It's lovely to be back and thank you so much for all your hard work. It was very noticeable (at least, until the demolition squad started work again!) and much appreciated.

Heh, sorry for tainting your comments with domestic trivia... I just assumed that your inbox would be full, your mobile would be at the bottom of your bag, and the first thing you looked at when you got home would be your comments. And thank you for your kind comments in my well hidden blog
